WAVE AND SMILE Skizze

Some drawings I did for the Intro of a new Jörg Pilawa show. It let me do action and crime stuff, what is always fun. But in the final version everything of that had to disappear, since this is for "familyfriendly" ZDF. (In the first version there even were guns)

Sky

These are samples of the beautiful board I did for the new Lagerfeld-Sky campaign. When I was drawing Mr. Lagerfeld I really appreciated the graphic quality of his outfit and style.

School competition

A very strange assignment for the 'Fuldaer Zeitung' or 'Kinzigtal Nachrichten' where I had to illustrate a school competition. It was fun to go back to classic water colors rather than doing the coloring in the computer.

Sporty

These are some of the countless characters I created for 'ExerciseTV'. Once again, this was an assignment by Los Angeles based designer Volker Dürre.

Watercolor

A watercolor painting I did for singer/songwriter Oren Lavie but was never used for any promo.

But, nevertheless for me it was fun to do something different...

Boxer

Here is a kind of illustration i'm rarely doing. It's a vector based two colored BOXER I did for the Boxer Café in Venice, Los Angeles. The art direction was supervised by Volker Dürre of Durredesign. Thanks to Volker I'm able to leave tiny marks even in the USA.

Something funny...

Guess which is the bad one!

00Vogel for Sparkasse

Once again Agent Jürgen Vogel is on a mission for the 'Sparkasse'. This time I was lucky to do the funny Storyboard for director Sebastian Strasser. It always has been a dream of mine to once do storyboards for a Bond movie. This was kind of a preparation for that. Here you can see some samples of the classical pencil style frames. The goal was to make them look like the original boards from a sixties movie.

Jump

This is a rejected, but funny illustration which was ment to be shot by a photographer. The Berlin based event agency 'dreinull' had the idea for a summer-party-invitation of an embassy. But in the end the jumping guy was obviously to edgy for that kind of client.

Olympus Pen Storyboard

This again, was a job where I could draw, how a storyboard has to look in my opinion. Roughly sketched out, but still clear enough to show what's important. There's even enough detail and some quick grey shade to create some atmosphere. These are samples of what I did for 'Olympus Pen Giant' for production company 'Big Fish' located in Berlin.

Here's the finished film:
